We really enjoyed our stay. Nice neighborhood with a boot ramp being just a few houses down. We messaged the hosts ahead of time to see if we could come in a day early and they were quick to respond and work it out for us to add a day to our stay. We had a situation when we arrived where the coffee pot didn’t work. They were quick to respond and even dropped off brand new coffee pots! The house is exactly like the pics and description. Even though the neighbors are close, everything is quiet and feels private. There is already box fans in each bedroom, even though we had all brought our own. Very nice big refrigerator to hold all your food. The home is literally stocked with everything you need with extra supplies like garbage bags, paper towels, soap, shampoo, dish liquid, coffee, etc. I have rented at places that didn’t even leave one garbage bag or soap or anything. We were very surprised. They are great hosts. We do want to book this home again in the future !

My family and I absolutely enjoyed our stay. From fishing on the private dock, to sitting around the fire pit (furnished with chairs/wood/firestarter) right next to the calming water, to making home cooked meals in the very large and well stocked kitchen, to relaxing and playing board games in the very cozy and homey living room, we didn’t miss a beat. There was enough space for every one to be comfortable. The space most definitely felt safe and we were able to focus on each other while enjoying our holiday. Amazing price for the number of guests and holiday dates! After we left, I had to contact the owner because I left my purse inside. The owner’s response was quick and polite. I didn’t have to sit around and wait, or send multiple messages. Would absolutely book again 100%

The property is so beautiful, scenic and peaceful. It felt comfortable and the screen-in sunroom just off the water was my favorite place to get alone time. We had a women's retreat with 10 women, but it was spacious enough so that each could go into private session in the same space. We had some minor hiccups, but Ms. Kathryn immediately resolved our issues. Thy provided complimentary coffee and the cabinets were stocked it cooking essentials. It is within minutes from local Wal-Mart and Southern Classic Fried Chicken (not miss it). All and all it was an amazing place to connect with God and connect with each other. The perfect, peaceful, proper, pleasing Place. Thanks for an amazing new "go to" location!!!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this property on September 13, 2025, and I couldn't be more satisfied with my experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the spaciousness of the property, providing plenty of room to relax and unwind. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay at your beautiful lakeside property. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and found the accommodation to be exceptionally comfortable with thoughtful amenities throughout. The kitchen was well-stocked, and we particularly appreciated the working coffee maker, excellent cutting boards, quality knives, and ample cups and plates which were perfect for our large group. We enjoyed interacting with the neighboring dog who visited and delighted all the children. The outdoor speakers were great. Everyone loved the property, especially the bunkhouse concept that allowed the children to play together and give the adults some space. We will definitely be back!

very nice place. kids, husband and myself enjoyed our stay while visiting family. only issue we had was the bathroom door didn’t lock and coffee table if bumped or moved would fall over. but everything else was PERFECT. the pool was lovely. lots of floats to use to swim with and even tho it was hot as it is we still enjoyed the pool to cool off. plenty of towels and washcloths. plenty of bedding and a blow up bed. sweet, sweet people and VERY accommodating hosts and loved that the backyard is fenced for our fur babies. we love bringing them with us. we would definitely like to stay here again when we come back to visit family. thank you guys so much for your time and hosting our family.

This was a wonderful, well maintained house in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Would recommend it to families wanting to stay in a comfortable, quiet neighborhood without worrying about their safety! It had all the amenities listed and plenty of parking area in the driveway. There’s also a binder left on the front entry table that includes information about the surrounding area with suggestions for wonderful places to eat. Plenty of space to stretch out and relax after your daytime adventures. This one is at the top of my short list of nice places to stay.

I can't say enough about our stay! Kathryn is an amazing host. The house, the view- again, amazing! Peaceful, relaxing, easy to tie up a boat. Home is gorgeous and you can tell there was a lot of thought put into it- things we appreciate like seasonings, extra towels, plenty of dishware, throw blankets. Cornhole (!!) and a mini golf game game to play while you relax on the screened in porch. A gaming system for when you're ready to relax inside. The space is so comfortable, it felt like I was at my home. Thank you Kathryn for having us!

We were so pleased with our week long stay! The house has such an inviting atmosphere - clean, well lit and a terrific layout. It looked as beautiful as the photos, and the structure feels so solid. My astute husband noticed the floors didn't creak at all! The house helped us to enjoy a much needed getaway. The small town had what we needed, and we enjoyed a couple of day trips to the state park minutes down the road. Kathryn was a wonderful host, and I received prompt help to my questions. We look forward to staying again!

We had a great stay in Ruston for Christmas! The location was great —quiet and perfect for our family gathering. The large rooms and ample kitchen space made it easy to cook and share meals together. We also enjoyed a few rounds of playing the original Super Mario was such a nostalgic treat! My family visiting enjoyed the house too. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, doing their best to make sure we had a great experience and they even put up a Christmas tree to make it feel extra special during the holidays.

Brent was immediately responsive and very accommodating. The house felt like nature at its best for us Californians. My brother's and I brought our 89 year old mom home to visit her home town in Louisiana. We experience a beautiful lake view, deers and squirrels. The home had plenty enough space for our family. This is a great place to stay! Lots of room for a big family. The beds were comfortable and the owners have included so many touches that make it feel like home. We didn’t access the lake because we were in the area for a thanksgiving family event. But the view of the lake is beautiful and we were wishing for more time to enjoy it! We had everything we needed. Brent and Kathryn are easy to reach and you can tell they care about their place and about your stay! I highly recommend this beautiful Airbnb!

Perfect place for our family to stay while celebrating our daughter's graduation! We'd stayed here once before and knew that it would be perfect to host our family for the graduation. We don't have small kids but the adult kids were just as happy to see the old school video games. There's plenty of comfortable seating in the home and TVs for entertainment. The neighborhood is quiet and the only downside was the bad weather that we had while there that kept us from enjoying the outdoor patio.

Perfect location for a family retreat. We loved how the house was setup so that everyone had their own bathroom to go with their bedroom. Very spacious. The boys loved playing football in the large backyard which was just steps away from the pier for fishing. Lots of TVs and other activities on the large patio overlooking the lake. Very peaceful but also conveniently located to town which has a Walmart for last minute items. We are putting this property on our yearly vacation list!

If you ever find yourself in the Farmersville Louisiana area, this Airbnb is one of the nicest I have stayed in! The view is priceless, so many amenities and so much room surrounded by all the trees and lake. We grilled, cooked in amazing kitchen, fished, sat by the fire pit and enjoyed family time! The giant kitchen was perfect cooking for several people so much space!! The beds were so comfortable we didn't want to get up. FIVE STAR <3!!!! We will definitely be back!!!

We had to come up for my daughter's orientation for Tech and we felt right at home. It was walking distance to the university and the downtown area. Super clean and comfortable and the amenities were top notch. It's very hot outside and when we walked in, they had the air conditioning set to where it was cool. The host quickly responded to any and all messages. I can also say it was one of the easiest check outs that we have ever had. We will definitely be back!

The hosts were as great as the place. We were a party of 12 - 6 adults and 6 kids - and the place was spacious for all! The hosts were very responsive to the few questions and inquiries I had. The location was perfect - close to stores and gas stations. And we felt very comfortable the entire stay. It was also the cleanest and most well kept AirBnB to date for myself and were sure to leave it same! I would absolutely recommend and I would absolutely stay again.

I arrived late at night by myself, so I was glad this is a safe area. The home was clean with a spacious living room area. The home is a short distance from tech where my daughter lives on campus. It is also close to the big Walmart and TJ max. I enjoyed meeting my daughter for a day in Ruston and attended a football game. I also enjoyed hanging out at the air bnb w her room mates, eating pizza, and catching up. I look forward to staying there again .

We had a great stay on the lake! The space was exactly as pictured with the added bonus of the beds and living room furniture being super comfy! We did have some small issues with the plumbing but Kathryn was super responsive and very helpful as soon as we contacted her. We enjoyed catching a ton of crappie and a few good bass along with using the grill for steaks one night. Would definitely recommend this place for sure! We hope to come back soon!

Very private, very large lake house with absolutely breathtaking views over the water. Stayed here with three generations of family and had a great time making unforgettable memories. House could use some updating in some places but has a lot of great features to accommodate a large party. Beds were super comfy and bunk bed room for kids to stay together is great. Brent is a great host and very responsive to assist with anything needed.

The house was accurately described in the listing. It was in a neighborhood with very little drive through traffic. We felt safe and at home. The furniture and linens were clean. The house was neat and clean and had all the essential items we needed. We especially enjoyed having the play/movie room off of the kitchen for the kids to play in while we prepared dinner. Check in and out was seamless and easy. I would recommend Brent’s home.

4 stars isn’t enough! This house is beautiful and comfortable. We felt right at home as soon as we walked in. There was a minor issue with the bathroom in the primary bedroom, however Kathryn responded quickly with compassion and care. The stocked snacks and tons of games were a huge hit with our teens, too. I’m already planning homecoming in Ruston at Brent & Kathryn’s place. Absolutely dream air b n b experience!

This place was just what we need for our multigenerational family. It allowed everyone to have their own space. Having bathrooms for each bedroom was an added plus. Surprisingly the AC held up even during the heat of the day and with us cooking indoors. We caught a good bit of fish off the accommodating dock. Everything you can think of needing is already in this home. We will definitely recommend and come back.

Excellent stay! The place was even larger than I expected, plenty of room for our two families to spread out and feel like we had our own privacy. Kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfy, and a lot of nice little touches to make the stay perfect. Highly recommend and will definitely book again the next time we are in Ruston. We were there for a swim meet and the house was just a quick drive to the pool.

This was a wonderful place to stay as a family for LA Tech’s Parents’ Weekend!!! It was an awesome house — wonderfully decorated, spacious and comfortable. We commented on how much better it was to stay here over a hotel! In addition, the location couldn’t have been more perfect! It was two miles down the street from our daughter’s campus apartment. We would definitely stay at this property again!!

Perfect getaway for some peace and quiet time away from a busy life. Kathryn and Brent were great hosts, immediately taking care of a few glitches during our stay. Very clean with nice large rooms as well as the grounds were very well kept up. Enjoyed sitting near the pond listening to birds and watching the sun rise and set. There were a few things broken and needed replacing, but that didn't affect our stay. 2 barstools, and the ice maker. The house itself is very lovely. The area is so peaceful and quiet. I wish it wasn't raining the whole first day so we could've enjoyed the property outside, but it was still quite nice! The home looks just like the pictures, and the hosts were quick to respond to any messages.

I had a wonderful stay at Kathryn's Airbnb! The place was very clean, beautifully decorated, and located in a safe neighborhood, which made me feel comfortable throughout my visit. We stayed here with our adult children for our son’s wedding. Having the game room/extra living room was great for our college students to do assignments. The neighborhood was very peaceful and the location was close to everything. Highly recommend if visiting your LA Tech student. Allowing us two extra hours for checkout was appreciated! We would definitely stay here again.

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!! This was, by far, the most incredible place we have stayed using AirBnB. The home was amazing, the setting was gorgeous, the hosts were beyond gracious, and our weekend we the best getaway in over a decade. Our women’s ministry had the best retreat weekend. The house is cozy and comfortable, with plenty of space to accommodate our large group. The backyard is beautiful and peaceful. The house was accurately better than pictures. Plenty of comfortable bedding for our whole group. Very peaceful surrounding. Sitting on deck in the morning while drinking coffee was amazing. Family had a blast swimming right off the dock. We enjoyed watching LSU football on TV in living room having the lake in background and BBQing. It was a perfect weekend.

This home was just as described. Very roomy, clean, comfortable, close to Tech and shopping but nestled in a quiet neighborhood. Owners were easy to communicate with and very accommodating to our weekend plans for our son’s graduation. We felt at home being so far from our home, and made our family’s celebration perfect! Absolutely enjoyed our stay at Brents Place! The beds were comfy, the pillows were comfy, the kitchen was well stocked, and the extra media room was a plus especially with having a kiddo. We felt like we were at home away from home while spending time with family and friends. Brent was super helpful during our stay and we are thankful for a great host.

I would rent this perfect accommodation again for a family vacation. The owner is very friendly and helpful with the guests. It has 5 very comfortable, clean and very tidy rooms, all with their own private bathroom. That's the best thing. Everything is excellent. The price is excellent and the lake is perfect. I will rent it again. Recommended.

This was a beautiful, clean home! Great location and beautiful surroundings! Everything was very clean and the house accommodated 9 of us very comfortably! Check in and check out was very easy and when I messaged with questions they replied back within a few minutes. I would highly recommend this place and would love to go back some time!

This place was perfect. We were having some renovations at our house & the contractors used a really strong chemical - that made our house uninhabitable - So i had to find a place to stay nearby. The place was spotless - cozy, the best bed - so comfortable. Great lay out of the house. I will be recommending this place to family & friends.

Our family stayed in this home as well as the property next door. It was more than enough to comfortably host our multigenerational group. The activities both in and around the home were great for us all. The kids and adults were discussing when we would return before we even left! We are definitely looking forward to booking again.

This was the perfect stay for our group! My in laws and myself were in town for the LA Tech football game. We had adults, children and babies - all of which were very comfortable in the space. Very safe location, walkable to a grocery store, downtown Rustin, and a cute food truck area. Very clean and spacious - we will be back!

We are a family of 5 plus a dog! I truly enjoyed being able to lodge not only with my family but also my pup! We had packed a few games and forgot the bag rushing out the door and to my surprise the space had soooooo many options to choose from! My kids enjoyed staying there and can’t wait till we return when the pool is open!

Truly a home away from home. This house has features I honestly wish I had in my own home. Very comfortable, relaxing, and the neighborhood is peaceful. Could almost walk to La Tech main campus from here. Possibly the best Airbnb of my entire experience. Pleasantly surprised with functionality and everything worked normally.

The stay was amazing! The host let me know ahead of time if anything was wrong or out of place to let them know immediately and they would have it resolved expeditiously. We loved staying at the little cottage on Howard Street! My husband and daughter and I came in town for a family wedding and we were practically next door to all of the events! The Ledbetter House was great for our family. There is a lot to like about this Airbnb! We especially liked the spacious living/kitchen/dining area. It was a nice gathering space for our family. As a Monroe native I can’t think of a better place to stay than this local gem! I was so happy to be in such a cute and tranquil neighborhood during this stay while also being close to EVERYTHING! Their home is thoughtfully designed and truly so peaceful. I would highly recommend this spot to any visitors of Monroe.

This place was located perfect for the Crappie Masters tournament. There were 10 of us that stayed and the place was absolutely amazing. Plenty of room for us all. I would highly recommend checking this place out if you have a big group. We will for sure be back and look forward to staying here again in the future!

The cedar lodge was clean and neat. It was very comfortable for a family of 4. The kitchen was great. We loved that coffee was provided !! It was secluded yet close to restaurants and different things to do in Ruston. There was ample parking. Owner was very prompt and accommodating. We would definitely be back!

We had a great 2 night stay while visiting relatives in the area during Christmas. We did not have time to use the lake but the view of Lake Claiborne was wonderful from the house. Very peaceful and relaxing. The guesthouse was also an added bonus with adult children. Great place on beautiful Lake Claiborne.

LakeLife was a perfect spot for a family vacation. The access to the lake and the family friendly area of lake Claiborne made it a fantastic time to relax and enjoy each other. This house was perfect for our family. We brought grandparents and siblings for graduation and the space could not have been more accommodating. The beautiful view of the lake with lots of ducks was a bonus. There were games on the porch for the kids to play and a TV for the guys to watch football!

Our stay was wonderful. Our only recommendation is that the stay there can either accommodate more guests, or that children 5 and under not be counted as one full guest if they sleep with the parent. The 2nd option just makes more room for other guests. But other than that, I would stay again!!

This place was VERY beautiful. We witnessed all the different weather out there on the lake and it was so peaceful. The back screened patio is where we spent a majority of our time. The kids loved the playground. Kathryn is a great host and quick to respond. Would definitely stay here again!

This place is a treasure if you want to be close to downtown and Tech's campus. It has many amenities, is incredibly clean, and the host is very responsive. We felt immediately at home the second we drove up and walked in the door. It was a great experience and we will definitely go back.

I would just like to say if you are looking for a peaceful get away on the lake, this is definitely the place to stay! Plenty of amenities, nice rooms, nice dock, all of it. The hosts were quick with the responses and very friendly people. They also had great recommendations for food!!

We absolutely loved our stay here from the moment we arrived! Beautiful sunrises! The kitchen was well stocked- we did bring our own cast iron skillet & gumbo pot for all of the family cooking we did. Some more of our family rented the house next to this one & it worked out perfectly!

Great location close to downtown. Clean and well organized home with plenty of space to kick out and relax. Loved all the TVs in the game room. Great assortment of video games. Was a huge hit with the teenagers and adults as well. Will definitely try to stay here again in the future.

Very beautiful older raised home, brought back memories of my Grandma’s house!!! The Home had everything we needed during our week there! The Hosts were very nice, helpful and responsive when we had questions. We will definitely stay here again when we play ball in Ruston again!!

Everything was perfect! Our family traveled for our daughter's graduation and it was the perfect place for us. Location was easy and the home was very spacious. This was probably the best Airbnb that we have stayed in. It has everything you need to make you feel right at home.

We had a wonderful time and plan to go back next year. We only had one small issue with a hot water tank that was addressed but overall we had an amazing time with our family. The lake and setting is beautiful and very relaxing. We will be back as soon as we can.

Beautiful view of the lake! Very easy to find. Right by the public boat launch. Lot of cooking utensils to use. I had brought a crockpot and blender but they had it all! Beds were comfy! Great place! Will come again!

The only negative thing was that the driveway did not have any sort of lighting or label or anything so if you came after dark, it was extremely hard to navigate. Like I said the only complaint and it’s very small.
